3. If you are not satisfied
- Mutual funds: write to the investor service or grievance officer of the fund house (their details are in the scheme documents and on the fund house's website). For a complaint against a mutual fund or its asset management company, you can use SEBI SCORES (scores.sebi.gov.in) or SEBI's Online Dispute Resolution portal (smartodr.in).
- Portfolio management, AIFs and other SEBI-regulated products: write to the portfolio manager or fund manager first; SEBI SCORES is available for complaints against them.
- Insurance: write to the insurer's grievance officer first, then use IRDAI's Bima Bharosa portal (bimabharosa.irdai.gov.in) or the Insurance Ombudsman.
- Loans: write to the lender's grievance officer, then to the RBI's complaint system (cms.rbi.org.in).
- Privacy: if you are not satisfied with our reply to a privacy grievance, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India once this right starts on 13 May 2027.
Shital Shukla and Jija Roy are registered with AMFI as Mutual Fund Distributors, and Jija Roy is also registered with APMI as a PMS distributor. Neither is registered with SEBI, so SEBI SCORES covers the fund house or portfolio manager, not Finpotters itself.
4. Beware of fraud
Finpotters will never ask for your OTP, PIN or password. We never promise guaranteed returns, never run stock-tip groups, and never ask you to pay investment money into a personal bank account. Payments for investments, insurance or loans go only to the institution offering the product (such as the fund house, portfolio manager, insurer or lender), never to Finpotters or to a person. Our only official numbers are +91 98250 39905 and +91 99254 71764, and our email is [email protected]. If anyone contacts you in our name in any other way, do not pay or share anything, and tell us.
Last updated: 29 September 2026 (draft). To be reviewed by Finpotters' legal adviser before the site goes live.
